Charges are Rs 1500 for an in person consultation which includes examination.
Rs 2000 is for an online consultation, which will not include examination. The price is purposely kept higher so as to discourage online consultations.
Each Consultation and examination may last for up to 30 Minutes
Although the Govt advertises that up to 10Lakhs of medical bills will be taken care of by the Card, behind the scenes, it is necessary for the common man to know that to enroll for MA/Ayushman Cards, We have to reach an agreement with the Government that we shall operate at a predecided “Fixed Cost”, which is a measly amount, Social Institutes and Medical Colleges can afford to work at the condition that the Government decides.
There also have been scams like the infamous “Khyati Hospital Scam” in Ahmedabad, Gujarat India, where Hospitals do questionable things to generate as much revenue as they can.
The Quality of Care & Service that we Thrive for, cannot be sustained at the rates offered by the Government, so kindly do not make any inquiries regarding the same.
